A New Author

I received the best news I could have ever of hoped to hear. "We will be sending you a contract." The day I read those words I nearly hit the floor. But I fought the dizzying sensation instead and screamed my head off while jumping up and down. My poor ten year old son didn't know what to think.

Of course, I called everyone I know and told them about it. Well, almost everyone. I've never kept it secret about what I write, but I never expected my dad to tell my grandma. Can you say panic attack? That's exactly what I felt whenever my grandma called and said she was going to read my book. Don't get me wrong, I love my grandma dearly, but her reading my menage is something I'm not sure I'm completely comfortable with. My face is red just thinking about it.

I'll get over it, I guess. If you can say one truly gets over something like that. So yes, I received a contract on my first book Passion Projected...and also one for my second book, Stalk Me. I'm excited to see what people think. They'll both be coming soon through Siren-Bookstrand Publishing. I'll keep everyone updated on the progress.
